How far can you stray and still say it's an arrangement? Anyone who knows me knows that I love to push that line. I'm certainly not the only one - I've some wildly imaginative arrangements. But this is a WILD one. Logan's notes on this one: Sounds like underwater, futuristic, synthwave, much slower. I wasn't sure where to start. But when listening to the original, that B part is just an arpeggio calling and responding. That was it! Didn't even have to change the notes but could move around in minor scales. I didn't know what would happen with the A part because it was so "happy," but once the vibe was established it didn't matter too much. I hope you dig the weirdness. It was just so big and strange. I was thinking about the music from the movie "Annihilation" as I often do which is what made me think of this big chord at the end. I was wearing my headphones when working on this and layering up more and more pads felt more and more ethereal. I know the ending goes on a bit long but listening to it always reminds me to slow down. And if things get bad, warp your butt outta there.
